Requirements that are linked by Aggregation relationships form a composition hierarchy. High level Requirements can be composed of lower level Requirements, which in turn are made up of finer and more specialized requirements. This hierarchical structure helps manage the complexity of large systems with thousands of requirements and many elements being employed to implement the requirements.
